1+1=?

When Dr. Sibley told me that I don't think in a logical and staightforward manner I knew that although this could sound like an insult it wasn't. He just didn't get how I arrived at the right answer when I went in some roundabout way to get there. How did I get into science when I don't think in this logical and straightforward way??? Why do I like this stuff when the typical scientific mind thinks in a step by step way? Was I suppose to do something else and I am missing my calling? I hope not. I like this stuff....
