Don't you just love when you have a math problem that is about five pages long and just when it looks like it could never simplify...everything cancels out and you are left with this small, simple, sweet answer.

I hope for all my fellow bloggers and readers that if and when life gets complicated and messy in the coming year, that it should simplify into something more managable, simple, and have a good ending!

Shabbat Shalom :-)

Again it's math. I think that math people are people of true genius. I also think that I have nothing in common with math people, so why do I struggle and take third semester of calculus, why???

My friend who is a third grade teacher told me that her third grade student was having trouble. Why? Because math is her favorite subject but she was very nervous for the upcoming test. Why? Because the test is on word problems and although she is really good at math, she has trouble reading and is afraid she will fail.

I sympathize with this student. It's hard when there in an obstacle in your way of understanding. I feel as if there is a huge block that prevents neurons from firing when I try to think about math and perhaps it's just not something I am capable of aquiring.

However, David O. is my new best friend because I think he will be able to help me with Python. We'll see....
