I just noticed that the other graduate student (well, he is an MD-PhD student) is also a fan of Into the Woods. How do I know? Easy! If you had a little post-it note with the following:

You wish to have the cursed reversed? I'll need a certain potion first...

Wouldn't you also suspect that he likes this wonderful show are well?

Alas it has been quite a while since I have blogged and really I have much about which to blog. Apparently I don't believe in state's rights. This is why my mother told me in response to my opinion that there should be universal voting laws for each of the fifty states. If Maine is going to split the electoral college then why can't Florida? There would be no such thing as a swing state and well, I would just do away with the whole electoral college anyway. I understand that people in Wyoming need as much of a say as people in Florida but I don't agree that each state can control the voting arrangements. Each place should use the same equipment and be open for the same number of hours and all of that. Now I am sure that for the most part I am in favor of State's rights. But for the whole silly presidential voting thing I am not in favor.

I know that this should have been blogged last week but I am just late, sorry.

New topic: Cell phones.

Did you know that if you were to purchase a cell phone from the Verizon store without any promotion or two year agreement that the cheapest phone there is $150!!! Yes, I know it's hard to believe but it's true. Unfortunately my two year upgrade would not be until the summer but I declared my phone dead yesterday. What to do!!!! Well, turns out that my grandfather has an extra phone and I will go this week and take his and hook that one up. In the meantime I bought that $150 phone keeping in mind that they have a 15-day return policy no questions asked. Guess where I will be returning next week? :)
