Even football players get stickers?

So I was watching the Ohio State vs. Penn State football game after shabbos and I noticed that on the helmets of the Ohio State players were stickers-I was told these were "leaves".

Whatever they were-I learned that these "leaves" were earned when a good play was made.

It was at that moment I realized that you can be in first grade and recieve stickers for answering a question or doing a good deed and you can be in college playing football making a good play...

Basically-no matter how old you are-apparently stickers will always be motivators.
